The Israeli company Mul-T-Lock is one of the oldest manufacturers of mortise lock mechanisms for metal and wooden doors. The entire Mul-T-lock range can be divided into 2 main groups: the first includes multi-channel mechanisms installed as main locks, the second group includes lock mechanisms for additional purposes. Mul-T-Lock Padlocks
The Mul-T-Lock company, specializing in the development of highly secret security mechanisms, presents a range of padlocks with the highest secrecy and made of materials that successfully resist mechanical methods of destruction. All products of the company have been tested for burglary resistance and operational reliability, and comply with international standards "ISI" and "CEN". Initially, a series of locks of classical design (C-series) was developed, which is a standard parallelepiped-shaped case and a working shackle in the form of an arc.
The features of the C-series locks include the use of innovative technologies, such as a multi-layer case consisting of a brass body and a steel casing, and a special technology for producing a shackle, where the steel is hardened to a certain depth. These innovations made it possible to combine plasticity and hardness in the design, which made Mul-T-Lock padlocks protected from many types of mechanical destruction.
The next stage in the development of Mul-T-Lock padlocks was the E-series, in which, in addition to using a more advanced cylinder technology "Interactive" (secrecy of 3,800,000 combinations), complex alloys began to be used in the manufacture of the lock body. The alloy used for the Mul-T-Lock E-series padlocks consists of steel with the addition of molybdenum and magnesium, this combination provides protection against cutting the body of the lock, since when heated this material melts, tightly jamming the blade of the cutting tool. The shackle of the lock has remained unchanged compared to the C-series, and is also made of hardened steel with the addition of boron. Some new items have also appeared - the secret part of the lock (cylinder mechanism) began to be equipped with a special steel disk, providing protection against drilling. The body of the padlock has drainage channels for removing moisture and dust, which allows the mechanism to be used in a variety of operating conditions. In addition to the main series of Mul-T-Lock padlocks, individual samples with unique properties have been developed. These include locks with permanent arc protection (No. 13 with permanent protection and E-series locks with an enlarged lock body), locks with a sliding pin (No. 13 U-shaped and SBE-13), locks with a single-point pin locking type (No. 13 pin L15, L21, L35), as well as a very popular model of the "Washer" lock. The reason for the popularity of this product is that when installed, the lock completely hides the hinges (eyes), providing the highest level of protection.
